Lemoore Police, County Gang Task Force investigating Thursday night shooting

The incident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Thursday night when Lemoore officers were dispatched to the apartment complex. When they arrived, they contacted a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, both of whom had gunshot wounds.

The victims told police they were walking in the area when they were suddenly shot by an unknown suspect. The victims would not provide any additional information.

The two persons were transported to the hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries to their upper bodies.

This incident is under investigation by the Lemoore Police Department and the Kings County Gang Task Force.
