Lemoore man arrested by Lemoore Police POP team for felony warrent

The Lemoore Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing (POP) team is doing its job. On Tuesday, June 19, the POP team arrested a Lemoore man on a felony warrant.

At about 2 p.m. the POP team was patrolling C Street when they questioned a suspect, Carlos Quair, 24, of Lemoore, who police said they knew had an outstanding warrant. The POP team located Quair sitting inside a vehicle and took him into custody for the felony warrant.

During a search Quair, was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, several bags containing a controlled substance and live ammunition. During a search of the vehicle, a loaded 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun was located between the driver’s seat and center console.

Quair was transported and booked at the Kings County Jail for the violations of: Kings County felony warrant, felon carrying a concealed firearm, felon carrying a loaded firearm in public, possession of a firearm within a school zone, possession and transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, unlawful possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carlos is being held without bail.
