Lemoore police arrest six, cite one after probation search in city neighborhood

The Lemoore Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Team, with the help from the Lemoore Police Department Detectives Unit, and in conjunction with the Kings County Probation Department, made at least six arrests and issued one citation on Monday, Aug. 7 while conducting a probation search in Lemoore.

The search was Initiated in large part by complaints from neighbors on Follett Street. Police say local citizens reported heavy foot traffic and suspicious activity throughout the daytime and nighttime hours.

When LPD officers entered the residence, they encountered several persons throughout the home and in the backyard. Each subject was detained and searched under the probation status of the individuals and home. As officers searched the house, they found a loaded firearm in one of the rooms.

The gun's owner, suspect Roman Alonzo, 21, of Lemoore, ran from the home and was quickly captured. He was arrested and charged as a felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, and resisting and delaying a police officer. His bail was set at $35,000.00.

The following subjects were also arrested at the residence:

Jason Jones (29) of Lemoore was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $15,000.00

Jenny Solorio (22) of Lemoore was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Her bail was set at $10,000.00.

Heriberto Lopez (42) of Lemoore was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $5,000.00.

Amelia Romero (61) of Lemoore was arrested due to an outstanding $20,000-dollar warrant for her arrest.

Anna Corona (40) of Lemoore was arrested due to a No Bail warrant for her arrest.

Ruben Alonzo (51) of Lemoore was cited for being in possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
