Tigers boys and girls split in key West Yosemite League water polo matchup Tuesday

Lemoore’s varsity boys’ water polo team improved to 5-6 on the season with a 12-10 thriller over visiting Hanford West Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers weren’t as fortunate, dropping a 9-6 decision to the Huskies to fall to 2-5 overall.

The ladies hope to rebound next Tuesday (Sept. 18) when they and the boys travel to Visalia for a matchup with Redwood High School.

Megan Val Allen led the Tigers in scoring with three goals while Emma Deburger, Victoria Gonzales, and Reilly Nava each scored one goal.
