Lemoore senior standout volleyball player Shelby Saporetti earned All-League honors last week after a vote by the West Yosemite League coaches. She was the only Tiger to earn a spot on the WYL First Team. She was a three-year varsity player.

The WYL’s Most Valuable Player was Mt. Whitney’s Makena Tyler. She led the Pioneers to an 8-2 mark in the WYL and an overall record of 24-11. Two teammates  – Toni Ramirez and Brooke Ruby – joined Tyler on the first team.

El Diamante and Redwood each named two players to the first team while the Miners put four more players on the second team. El Diamante won the WYL this year with a perfect 10-0 record. The Miners were 28-6 overall.

Two Tigers – Monica Mansenus and Jada English were Honorable Mention picks. The Three Tigers were part of a team that compiled a 14-15 overall record and a 3-7 WYL mark.
