Lemoore police detectives arrest three suspects in possible gang-related shootings

The Lemoore Police Department is reporting that at least two Lemoore residents were victims in suspected gang-related shootings that roiled the city’s F Street neighborhood on Dec. 7 at about 2:30 p.m.

It was about that time that Lemoore police officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area. As officers responded they discovered a victim was down with an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. During the officers’ investigation, detectives also learned of a second victim who was shot and transported to a hospital. That victim is also expected to survive

Detectives immediately began processing the scene and spoke to witnesses who provided the police with a vehicle description as well as a description of the suspects involved.

Police quickly relayed the information to surrounding law enforcement agencies, and in short time the Hanford Police Department, Kings County Probation Department, and the Kings County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect’s vehicle in Hanford. Law enforcement officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the three suspects whom they suspect were involved with the Lemoore shooting.

Law enforcement officers positively identified all three suspects. The three were transported to the Lemoore Police Department, interviewed, and ultimately booked into the Kings County Jail. Police identified the suspects as Javier Limon, 22, of Hanford; Alejandro Cadena, 25, of Stratford, and Fabian Carnero, 19, of Hanford.

Officers booked the suspects into the Kings County Jail on three counts of attempted homicide, two counts of shooting at a dwelling, and criminal conspiracy with a gang enhancement. Bail is $3,055,000.

Police believe the shooting was gang-related. The Lemoore Police Department is still actively investigating this case and is asking anyone with information to contact Detective Moritz or Detective Pescatore at 559-924-9574.
