Lemoore High School's soccer teams fall in pre-season action Tuesday night. Girls host Monache Dec. 18 while boys visit Marauders

Lemoore’s varsity boys’ and girls’ soccer teams are winning this season, but on Tuesday (Dec. 11) both squads saw their winning ways take a bit of a stumble as the girls – playing on their home turf – dropped a 6-0 decision to Mission Oak, while the boys fell to Madera South 2-1. Both teams hope to return to their winning ways when the girls visiting Monache High School on Dec. 18 and the same night the boys travel to Porterville to take on the Marauders.

The Lady Tigers are currently 3-1-1 on the season while the boys sport a 5-3-1 record.

Lemoore’s boys scored just once in the first half while allowing two goals. The two teams went scoreless in the second as Madera held on for the victory.

In Tiger Stadium Tuesday night, the Lady Tigers had their hands full with a potent Mission Oak offense that scored three goals in the first half and another three scores in the second to win 6-0.
