Armona man shooting victim. Sheriff's Office suggests gang involvement

On Wednesday, deputies arrived at the 11000 block of Alvin Street to find a resident that had been shot several times. The deputies and fire department staff began life-saving efforts. However, the victim, David Aguiniga, 25, was transported to Adventist Medical Center where he later died of his wounds.

The Sheriff's Office is still investigating and will continue to follow all leads.  If anyone has information that might assist the investigation, he or she is urged to call Detective Jessica Machado at 559-852-2818.
