Lemoore police arrested a convicted felon Friday morning (April 5) on suspicion of possession of a firearm and ammunition and then carrying a loaded gun in public.  Police located the suspect on a KART bus near West Hills College.

Lemoore police officers, at about 11 a.m., located the bus in the 400 block of North 19th Ave. and detained a male passenger who matched the suspect’s description. Officers searched the suspect, 24-year-old Devin Lamar of Hanford, and located a bullet on his person.

Police quickly found the gun in the bus where the male suspect was seen sitting before the traffic stop according to witnesses. The ammunition found on the suspect was a match for the caliber of the weapon.
