Tigers surprised in loss at Clovis East season football opener. Chowchilla looms Friday night
Clovis East scored in every quarter Friday night, taking a 13-0 lead into the half then adding three more TDs for the final.
Lemoore hopes to put an end to what has to be one of its longest losing streaks in decades. The Tigers will travel to Chowchilla this Friday (Aug. 30) and face a team they defeated last year 43-18. Lemoore returns to Tiger Stadium on Sept. 6 for a game against Tulare Western, the first of four straight home contests.
