Services begin today (Nov. 14) for Lemoore Police Officer Jonathan Diaz, who logged his final call on Nov. 2, 2019
Jonathan Diaz was born to Juan Diaz and Blanca Vasquez in Hanford, California on April 14, 1988. a major accomplishment in his life was completing his Associate's Degree and POST training. His outgoing spirit will be remembered by his family, his fellow officers and sisters and brothers in law enforcement. His dedicated, unselfish service will never be forgotten.
Jonathan is survived by his parents Juan Diaz and Blanca Vasquez; his girlfriend Victoria Gonzalez; his children Elmer Jonathan Diaz Jr., Damian Diaz and Stephanie Nicole Diaz; his sibling Juan Antonio Diaz, Kevin Diaz and Carlos Diaz. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Paulina Azurdia; his paternal grandfather Rufino Vasquez and his colleagues from the Lemoore Police Department.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Saint Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church, 870 N. Lemoore Avenue, Lemoore, CA 93245.
A Vigil Service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Saint Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church 870 N. Lemoore Avenue, Lemoore, CA 93245.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Saint Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church 870 N. Lemoore Avenue, Lemoore, CA 93245. Interment will follow at Sunflower Fields Cemetery.
