Tiger boys' soccer continue winning ways as team takes early West Yosemite lead over Redwood

Lemoore’s varsity boys’ soccer team continued its winning ways Tuesday night, torching visiting Redwood 4-0 and grabbing the early West Yosemite League lead as the Tigers prepare for tomorrow’s (Jan. 9)  matchup with visiting El Diamante.

Lemoore improved to 1-0 in the WYL and are 10-4-1 overall as they begin their assault on the WYL.

Against the Rangers Tuesday night Lemoore got a goal in the first half and poured it on in the second period with three goals to outdistance the Visalia school.

On the other end of the spectrum, Lemoore’s ladies continued to their winless streak this season, falling to 0-9-2 on the season after Tuesday night’s 7-0 loss at Redwood High School in Visalia.  The Rangers scored five times in the first have to easily outdistance Lemoore. They scored twice more in the second period.

Lemoore’s ladies hope to end their losing streak Thursday night at El Diamante where the Tigers will tackle the Miners in a 6 p.m. clash.
