A Kings County Jail detentions deputy was arrested Feb. 14 on a variety of charges that included video recording sexual encounters of a victim secretly without her knowledge or consent.

Kings County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested 25-year-old Slater Lee Bach as he arrived for work early Friday morning. The Kings County Sheriff’s detectives began their investigation after being contacted by a confidential victim.

Bach is suspected of sending the videos and several sexually explicit photographs of himself to a second victim. Detectives also say the suspect later harassed the victim via phone and text messages after the victim discovered the video.

Bail was established at $45,000.

The investigation showed that Bach is suspected of secretly video recording sexual encounters with the victim without her knowledge or consent and then sending the videos and several sexually explicit photographs of himself to a second victim.

Bach has been an employee of the Sheriff’s Office for a little less than four years. In addition to his arrest, he was also placed on administrative leave (relieved of duty), pending an internal affairs investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office recognizes that crimes, such as these, may include other victims and ask that other victims who may have had a relationship with Bach and are suspicious of any similar activity by him, that they contact the Kings County Sheriff’s Office.
