The Lemoore Police Department Investigations Unit and the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force (KCMTF), were recently alerted to potential illegal marijuana sales and possible child endangerment occurring at a Lemoore residence.

On Thursday, February 13, both investigation units, armed with a search warrant, arrived at the suspected Lemoore residence, located on Carla Drive. Law enforcement officers contacted Alex Huie, 34, and Teresa France Pena, 24.

During a search of the premises, officers found evidence of marijuana sales and psychedelic mushrooms. Upon further investigation, over $30,000 in cash was found and seized. Police also determined that a child in residence was in danger. Police contacted Child Protective Services.
