Lemoore Police officer chases down suspects on city's streets, discovers two pounds of meth
The officer initially observed a red, Dodge Ram truck traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on 19th Avenue, made a u-turn in an attempt to overtake the car. Despite having a police officer on his tail, the driver never slowed and continued speeding northbound on 19th Avenue. He eventually turned onto West Bush Street, and the officer finally caught up with the vehicle, and the suspect came to a stop.
The officer contacted the 28-year-old driver, suspect Alfredo Villegas Medina, from Dixon, CA. and 36-year-old passenger, Nancy Arias Garza, from Hanford. Medina was on parole for a weapons violation, and Garza had an outstanding warrant out of Kings County.

Assisting officers located a fanny-pack style bag in an adjacent gutter. Inside the fanny pack, the officers found approximately two pounds of methamphetamine and smoking paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle revealed packaging material, documentation of narcotics sales, and a fanny-pack of the same make, model, and color in which the narcotics were found.
After further investigation, it was determined the suspects tossed the narcotics from their vehicle before being stopped by the police.
Alfredo Medina and Nancy Garza were arrested and booked into Kings County Jail for possession for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, and criminal conspiracy. Their bail was set at $660,000 apiece. Garza was also booked on an additional $50,000 warrant out of Kings County.
