Kings County law enforcement arrests two suspects for illegal marijuana grows

A pair of suspects were arrested on April 1 and charged with the illegal cultivation of marijuana at 5 ½ Avenue in Hanford. The Kings County Swat Team, Major Crimes, and Rural Crimes units executed a search warrant for illegal marijuana.

Law enforcement officials say they found three separate grows that housed over 520 marijuana plants. The marijuana plants were removed and destroyed at the completion of the search warrant and investigation.

County officers arrested two suspects and charged them with cultivation of marijuana. Law enforcement officers charged the property’s owner, Susan Brewington, owner of the property, with 11358 H&S (Cultivation of Marijuana, Health and Safety).

Another suspect, Lorent Espinoza, admitted to growing the marijuana, and deputies arrested him 11358 H&S.

The estimated street value of the marijuana seized at this location was worth approximately $520,000.
