The Lemoore Police Department Investigations Unit, while following up April 9 on what the department referred to as a gang-related April 5 shooting, located a black Acura that officers believe was used in the shooting on Avocado Dr.

Officers watched as the vehicle left the residence and attempted to stop the driver. The driver refused to yield and dropped off the front passenger. After a brief pursuit, the driver was taken into custody and identified as a 30-year-old suspect Rudy Zamora.

Police found the passenger, a 17-year-old suspect, hiding in a backyard on Banyan Dr. and arrested him. Police say he was carrying a stolen and loaded .357 revolver.
