Lemoore police stop suspect's vehicle and find drugs and loaded pistol

It was on August 10, at about 7:10 p.m. that a Lemoore officer stopped on a vehicle in the area of S. Olive St. and Redwood Ln. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 20-year-old suspect Nicholas Austin Gonzales of Hanford, admitted to having psilocybin mushrooms.

Police officers arrested the suspect and they searched his vehicle, locating multiple items of contraband, including a loaded semi-automatic pistol, psilocybin mushrooms, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana, and money associated with the sale of illegal narcotics.  

Officers booked Gonzalez into the Kings County Jail on suspicion of carrying a concealed loaded weapon inside a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of a controlled substance for sale among other drug-related charges. Gonzalez’ bail was set at $150,000.
