Lemoore police catch up with shooting suspect in Texas and seek a second suspect

Lemoore Police Department, with help from Texas police, arrested one suspect in a local shooting and is awaiting extradition for another suspect.

It was on September 27, at about 2 a.m., when Lemoore officers were dispatched to a Lemoore gas station on North Lemoore Avenue.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a male in a vehicle and bleeding. Officers gave Immediate aid, but officials pronounced the man deceased at the scene. 

Officers identified the victim as Armona resident, Ronald Lee Mullins, just 28 years old.  Lemoore detectives and the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force determined that two males entered Mullins’ vehicle while he was parked at the gas station. One of the males shot Mullins and then both fled the parking lot.

Detectives identified the two suspects involved in this homicide as Cobiere Garvis Henderson, 20, and suspect Angel Villasenor, 18.

Detectives located Cobiere Henderson in Atlanta, Texas. Local law enforcement placed the suspect under arrest, and he is in custody awaiting extradition to Kings County. Law enforcement has issued a warrant for Angel Villasenor’s arrest.

Police say Villasenor is known to possess firearms and is a suspected gang member. Police say he has been arrested in the past for discharging a firearm. Anyone with information regarding Villasenor’s whereabouts is asked to call Lemoore PD Detectives 559-924-9574 or dispatch at 559-924-5333.
