Lemoore police continue investigating early-morning shooting incident at local motel

The Lemoore Police Department continues to investigate a serious incident that occurred on Monday (October 5) at approximately 3 a.m. Lemoore officers quickly arrived on the scene and discovered a barrage of gunshots had been fired in the direction of a local motel on East D Street.

Lemoore officers arrived within two minutes of the reported shots and found that a suspect or suspects fired at least 30 rounds in the direction of the hotel and struck several vehicles and rooms on the west side of the property.

Lemoore detectives took charge of the investigation, and as of Tuesday, they had not developed a motive for the shooting. Police haven’t identified any suspects, and there have been no reported injuries.
