Lemoore detectives arrest four and seek additional suspect in Sept. 16 shooting incident

Lemoore police officers, with help from the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force, arrested four suspects following a September 16 shooting incident that occurred at a gas station on West Bush Street. Police continue to seek a fifth suspect, Arron Villagran, who has an active warrant for his arrest.

The Lemoore Police Department is asking that anyone who knows the whereabouts of the suspect, Villagran, to call the Lemoore department at (559) 924-5333.

On September 16 at about 11:30 p.m., Lemoore police officers arrived at the local gas station regarding a possible shooting incident. By the time officers arrived, the suspects had fled the scene. However, officers located evidence that a large fight occurred, and a shot was fired at a subject.

Lemoore detectives took over the investigation, and with the help of the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force, identified suspects Damarea Alexander, 20, Darrieon Corbert, 18, Elijah Jones, 18, Angel Villasenor, 18, and Arron Villagran, 20, all of whom say police may have been suspects involved in the fight and the shooting.

Alexander, Corbert, Jones, and Villasenor were all located and taken into custody. Police booked the suspects into the Kings County Jail for attempted homicide, participating in a criminal street gang, gang enhancement, gross and negligent discharge of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Police detectives say that as of Nov. 2 Villagran, had not been located, and currently, they have a warrant out for his arrest. Again, detectives ask that anyone with information about Villagran’s whereabouts please call the Lemoore Police Department at (559) 924-5333.
