Lemoore police identify and arrest pair of suspects in local shooting incident
On Sunday morning, officers responded to the call on San Simeon of shots fired into a local residence. Officers conducted an initial investigation and found multiple rounds had been fired into the occupied residence. The shots were fired from a vehicle, officers learned.
No one was injured in the Sunday incident.
Lemoore Police Department detectives identified and arrested two suspects, the suspected shooter, Joel Gutierrez, 26, and Bryan Salazar, 29. Both suspects were arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Detectives, with a search warrant in hand, searched Salazar’s residence and found a loaded handgun reported stolen out of Yolo County.

Gutierrez was arrested with the assistance of the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force on Tuesday, November 3.

2 Counts of PC 246: Shooting at an inhabited dwelling
4 Counts of PC 664/187 (a): Attempted Murder
PC 29800 (a) (1): Convicted Felon in possession of a firearm
PC 30305 (a): Prohibited person possessing ammunition
PC 182 (a) (1): Conspiracy to commit a crime
Bryan Salazar was booked in the Kings County Jail for the following violations:
PC 653f (b): Solicit to commit murder
PC 664/187 (a): Attempted murder
PC 182 (a)(1): Conspiracy to commit a crime
PC 29800 (a) (1): Convicted felon in possession of a firearm
PC 30305 (a) (1): Prohibited person in possession of ammunition PC 12022.1 (a) (1): Committing a felony while out on bail
