Heather Christine Guzman was born to Ronald and Judith Rogers on November 11, 1976, in Los Banos, California. She attended Brittan Elementary graduating in 1990. She attended Sutter High School graduating in 1994. During her time in high school, Heather played for the softball team for one year.

After high school, she enlisted in the United States Navy, with her good friend Rebecca Dixon, in 1994. She graduated from basic training 8 weeks later in Chicago, Illinois. During her career as a Radioman (IT Navy Information System Technician). Heather was able to travel around the world. Her fondest being her time in Italy, where she would eventually meet her future husband and love of her life, Nicholas Guzman of Tulare, California. She would eventually land back on U.S. soil, making Virginia home for 4 years. Nick and Heather began a family, welcoming the oldest child, Isabella, in February 2001. After over 7 years in the United States Navy, she was honorably discharged. Nick and Heather married in June 2002 and in June 2003 welcomed twin boys Ezekiel and Francisco.

The family then settled in Lemoore, California, in December 2004. Where they bought a home and watched their children grow. Heather’s days were spent being the most amazing mother to her 3 children. They often kept her busy with activities such as baseball and soccer games.  As her children grew older, she began working for Meadow Lane Elementary as a school clerk. She also attended West Hills community college, earning her associate degree in child development, and was able to graduate with Nick by her side. Heather then furthered her career and began to work for Lemoore Naval Air Station as a CO administrative assistant.

Heather could often be seen sitting outside as she would watch her children play with the neighborhood kids, training her beloved dog Leo and enjoying family time with friends in the backyard. She loved camping, visiting with friends, traveling, and most importantly watching her 3 children grow. Isabella, Ezekiel, and Francisco have been raised to be respectful, responsible, and kind. They are filled with their mother’s love, and she cherished them greatly.
