George Torres

George Torres, a man of Great Faith, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2021. George was born on June 20, 1959, to John and Dolores Torres, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Lemoore High School and worked for Able Industries in Porterville.

George enjoyed reading, casinos, races, and fishing with his brother Joe--especially when camping near Bass Lake or Pine Flat Dam.

His devotion to family, friends and his firm belief in God supported him through life and gave him peace.

George is survived by brother Joe Torres of Visalia, sisters Mary Gonzales of Visalia, Jenny Hernandez of Visalia, and Deborah Reyna of Bakersfield. He is also survived by his aunt Vickie Torres Rodriguez of Visalia, 7 nephews, 7 nieces, 7 great-nephews, and 6 great-nieces. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Terri Torres of Visalia, loving brothers-in-law Johnny Gonzales of Visalia, Michael Rene Hernandez of Visalia, and Juan Reyna of Bakersfield.

Celebration of Life: February 19, 2021, at Wasco Cemetery, 300 Leonard Avenue, Wasco, California 93280 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Arrangements made by Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel.
