Unbeaten Tiger football team has Friday night matchup at Kingsburg High School, LHS volleyball home Tuesday

Lemoore remains on the road Friday night (Sept. 3) when they travel to Kingsburg for a matchup with the Vikings. Kingsburg, on Friday night, fell to a powerful Buchanan High School team 33-7. Gametime for the Tigers and Vikings is 7:30 p.m. at Kingsburg High School.
This week, leading the Tiger charge against Chowchilla was quarterback Ty Chambers, who completed 12 of 16 passes for 156 yards and four touchdowns. Two of those TDs went to sophomore Kobe Green, the longest a 27-yard TD pass. Green caught four passes total for 79 yards. Demel Turner and D'Marcus Watson each caught a TD pass.
The Tigers ground game was impressive as Tiger runners ground out 210 yards against Chowchilla. Senior Cory Whitmore led the way with 90, his longest run for 34 yards. Junior Anthony Garcia rushed for 54 total yards.
In other Lemoore High sports action, its varsity volleyball team, also sporting a perfect record (3-0), will host Hanford West in a Tuesday match at 6:30 p.m. The Huskies are also unbeaten, sporting a 4-0 mark.
