Kings Christian Crusaders outscore visiting Minarets 64-43, improve to 2-2 while girls lose narrowly, 43-38

Kings Christian High School is 2-2 on the young season as local high school basketball recently got underway. The Crusaders, on Tuesday, Nov. 30, outscored Minarets High School 64-43 in their home gym while the girls' team fell to 0-3 on the year with its 43-38 loss to the Minarets.

According to the Maxpreps schedule, the Crusaders' next game isn’t until Jan. 14 when they visit Wonderful College Prep Academy in a 6 p.m. game. The boys' next contest is at Exeter High School on Dec. 2.

Sophomore Ronnie Rocha led the Crusaders in scoring with 41 points while teammate Luke Vickers, a senior, tossed in 10 points for the winners. In the girls’ contest, Alexa Pierce scored 11 points while Allison Azevedo contributed 10 points in the narrow loss.
