Tigers baseball team drops key West Yosemite League contest 8-2 at Hanford as baseball, softball season heats up

In the ongoing West Yosemite League campaign, the Tigers are 5-9 as they prepare for another WYL contest against Redwood on April 5 on their home diamond. Between then and now, the Tigers take a side trip to Kingsburg on Saturday (April 2) for a non-league encounter. The Tigers' latest contest ended in an 8-2 loss on the Bullpups diamond as the host team scored six runs in the fourth inning to take an 8-1 lead.

In its most recent action, the LHS varsity softball team dropped a non-league contest at Tulare Union 7-1 as the Tigers fell to 3-10 overall. Lemoore's softballers have a WYL game on Tuesday, April 5, against Redwood High School, followed by another home contest versus El Diamante, both games slated for 4:30o p.m.
