A Kings County Deputy Sheriff, on Tuesday, April 5 at about 9:45 p.m. spotted two vehicles parked on the side of the road in the area of 18th Avenue and Lacey Blvd in Lemoore. It appeared that one of the vehicles was broken down and the deputy stopped to provide assistance.

The deputy spoke initially with suspects Pablo Chavez, Wiatt Breshears, and Amanda St-Denis who were standing near a Dodge Dakota and a Cadillac LTS. The trio explained they were putting fuel into Dodge since it had run out of gas.

The deputy asked if anyone had anything illegal in their possession. Chavez and St. Denis said they each had a smoking device used for ingesting Methamphetamine.

The Deputy determined that Breshears and St. Denis were on probation and subject to search by a peace officer. During a search of Breshears Dodge, the deputy located a large amount of Methamphetamine which totaled over 3.8 ounces.

The deputy also located money in various denominations along with the Methamphetamine. During questioning, Breshears admitted the Methamphetamine belonged to him.

Kings County K-9 Bluz arrived on the scene and conducted a free air sniff around the Cadillac. The K-9 alerted to the odor of illegal drugs inside the Cadillac.

During a search of the Cadillac, deputies located an additional 16 grams of Methamphetamine. The suspect, Chavez, admitted the Methamphetamine belonged to him.

Deputies arrested the three suspects and booked them into the Kings County Jail. One suspect, Breshears, was charged with the sales of narcotics and transportation of a controlled substance. Deputies charged Chavez with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Deputies charged St. Denis with possession of drug paraphernalia. All three were later released.
