Lemoore police officers respond to shots fired in downtown area

The Lemoore Police Department reported that on Friday, May 5, at about 1:14 p.m., police responded to a report of gunshots being fired in part of the Lemoore downtown area, most likely the 400 block of E. Street. The Lemoore Police Department, in a short press release, said its officers were on the scene approximately a minute later.

Police say they found shell casings at the scene. The investigation has been turned over to the department’s detectives. No injuries were reported.
