Kings Sheriff's Department seeks public's help in shooting death at Santa Rosa Rancheria

Kings County Deputies, on Tuesday, June 20, at about 5:33 a.m., responded to the Santa Rosa Rancheria, following up on a report of a possible gunshot victim.  According to the Kings Sheriff’s Department, the victim was identified as Erik Sanchez Nichols, who was pronounced deceased.

KCSO Detectives took over the investigation and have followed many leads up to this date.

The Kings County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with any information regarding the homicide.  Sheriff’s officials ask anyone with information to call Detective Haener at 559-852-2818 or the department’s Confidential Tip Line at 559-852-4554.
