Lemoore police report shooting death as officers investigate incident

Officers provided first aid at the scene, and then both victims were transported to a local area hospital. The Lemoore Police Department reported that one of the victims was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim is currently receiving treatment for a gunshot wound.

The Lemoore Police Department said an investigation is in progress, and the case has been turned over to Lemoore Police detectives.

Police officials reported that This is Lemoore’s first homicide in almost two years.
