Jacquelyn “Jacquie” Renee Farrar was a caring and selfless wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 59, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones.

Jacquie was born to John and Josie Martins on July 29, 1964. After graduating from high school, Jacquie began her career working in the healthcare field. She served as a Pharmacy Technician, Treatment Scheduler, and Hygiene Coordinator. Jacquie made a genuine effort to get to know and care for all her patients and always took pride in her work. Jacquie married the love of her life, Mike, on November 16, 1991. Together, they built a beautiful life and had two daughters, Allie and Lauren. Jacquie enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Jacquie is survived by her husband, Mike; her two daughters, Allie (Joe Andrada) and Lauren; her mother, Josie; and her brother, Johnny (Amy). She was preceded in death by her father, John; her sister, Johnna; and her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Martha Farrar.

A rosary is scheduled for 10 a.m. on September 5, 2023, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Peters Catholic Church in Lemoore- 870 North Lemoore Avenue, internment to follow at Lemoore Cemetery.

A reception will immediately follow at the Fleet Reserve-788 East D. Street in Lemoore.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org) in honor of Jacquie.

Arrangements are by Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel in Lemoore.
