Lady Tigers softball opens WYL with home game against Hanford West

It's been a rough season for Lemoore's varsity girls' softball team as it prepares for its West Yosemite League opener, a 4:40 p.m. game against Hanford West on Lemoore's home field.

Following eight straight losses to begin the season, Lemoore got on the winning side of things with a 5-2 win over Selma in the tail end of a double-header split with the Bears. Selma beat Lemoore 8-5 in the opener in the March 11 game in Selma.
