Police seek suspect in armed robbery of Lemoore Chevron station

Lemoore police are seeking the public’s help in apprehending a man who robbed a Chevron Station Tuesday night in Lemoore. Police say that about midnight Lemoore police officers were dispatched to the Chevron Gas Station at 19 ½ Avenue and W. Bush Street for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

Two Chevron employees were working when a male holding a handgun entered the business. The suspect approached one employee and demanded the money from the register. The suspect approached the second employee and demanded money from the other register. Both employees complied with the suspect’s orders and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police report that the suspect was described as a white-male adult with tanned skin, dark hair, goatee, about 5-10, with an average build. He was wearing black gloves and a red-hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head and partially covering his face.

The gun was described as a black or silver revolver, possibly with brown-colored grips. The suspect fled in a dark-colored car, possibly a four-door Honda or Nissan. Police are investigating whether there was another suspect in the suspect’s vehicle.
