Lemoore man arrested for inappropriate touching of child

Lupe Cavazos was arrested by Lemoore police and taken to the Lemoore Police Department and later booked at the Kings County Jail for two counts of lewd and lascivious acts involving a child. His bail was set at $100,000.

On Monday, Sept. 15, a female came to the Lemoore Police Department to report that her daughter was inappropriately touched by a male relative. After speaking to the officer, the mother brought her daughter to the police department so she could be interviewed.

The child reported that she was at the male’s house during the summer and was sitting on his lap while they were watching television. The male then put his hand in the victim’s pants and touched her.
