Crusaders pound Trona for 52-0 victory; take CSL lead

Kings Christian High School continued its crusade for another Central Sierra League championship by pounding visiting Trona Friday night 52-0 to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Overall player of the game Joshua Robinson had a great game on both sides of the field, passing for 101 yards and two touchdowns while carrying the ball for another 63 yards. On defense Robinson had two interceptions.

CSL Standings

Max Hudson carried the ball for 64 yards on just five carries and two touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown. He also had four tackles and an interception that he returned for 23 yards.

Nico Hudson had three touchdowns and rushed for 86 yards against Trona and was the team’s defensive player of the game with five solo tackles and eight assists.

The Crusaders hit the road for a Friday game at Anzar High School in San Juan Bautista.
