For weeks, Lemoore High School’s Gary Joint has been using social media extensively, posting messages on Facebook stating that he’s ready to win a California wrestling championship. The 132-pound grappler, who reports to Fresno State in the fall on a full athletic scholarship, made good on his messages Saturday night, winning the CIF state wrestling championship. Keep reading...

Lemoore’s varsity baseball team improved to 2-1 on the season with a 10-2 victory over Dinuba on Wednesday at the Tigers’ diamond. The Tigers bats came alive as the score three runs in each of the first three innings to take a 9-0 lead to the sixth when Dinuba final scored two runs.
