Lemoore’s girls’ basketball team dropped a key West Yosemite League contest Wednesday night in Lemoore, falling 57-33 to Redwood High School. The Tiger boys continued their hold on the WYL league with their victory over the Rangers.
Lemoore's girls got 15 points from Amaya Sanchez eight points from Sophia Ramirez to lead the Tigers. Sanchez scored eight of her points in the second quarter to cut the Rangers’ lead to 23-15 at the halfway mark.
The Lady Rangers were ahead of the Tigers the entire game as Lemoore fell to 2-4 in league play and 9-11 overall. The Rangers are 5-1 in the WYL and are an impressive 18-5 overall. Redwood is just one game behind league-leading Hanford’s 6-0 record. Keep reading...
