Lemoore Chamber selects panelists, moderators for upcoming workshop series
Session 1 of the series, Motivation & What to Expect, will be held on Tuesday, March 29, and will include topics such as: Why Run? The Nuts & Bolts of Running for Office, Today & Tomorrow's Local Challenges, and What it is Like to be an Elected Official.
Serving as the moderator will be Kings County Superintendent of Schools Tim Bowers.
Panelists include Lemoore Mayor Lois Wynne, Kings County Board of Supervisor Joe Neves, Kings County Tax Assessor Kristine Lee, Kings County District Attorney Keith Fagundes, Lemoore City Clerk Janie Vanegas, and Lemoore Chamber CEO Jenny MacMurdo.
Session 2, The Road to Campaign Success, will be on Tuesday, May 24, and will include topics such as: Campaign Team Roles & Responsibilities, Crafting & Delivering and Effective Message, Getting the Endorsement & Fundraising, and Working with the Media.
The moderator will be Kings County Board of Supervisor member Craig Pedersen. Panelists include former campaign operative & legislative aide Rogelio Caudillo, marketing executive Kim Batty, Kings County Farm Bureau Board Member Kevin Robertson, Hanford Sentinel Publisher Davis Taylor, and The Lemoore Leader Publisher and Editor Ed Martin.
Sessions will be held at the Lemoore Civic Auditorium, 435 C Street, from 6:30-8:30pm. All participants need to register in advance to secure a seat. Limit 25 people. Cost is free for Chamber Members, $25 for non-members.
