Anyone who has had to move their household goods from one house to another, whether it’s 5 or 500 miles, knows moving can be extremely stressful. Lemoore Van and Storage makes it a little bit easier, by providing excellent moving services to civilians and military personnel for well over 40 years.

The folks at Lemoore Van and Storage takes pride in their work and in their community. Lemoore Van and Storage umbrellas several other moving companies: Cannon Moving & Storage INC, Kings Valley Moving & Storage, Lambert Enterprises INC, Yucca Valley Van & Storage, all located under one roof at 581 W. Iona Rd, right here in Lemoore.

No matter which of these businesses you encounter, I can assure you, you will always have the best moving experience. Each employee at Lemoore Van and Storage, and its affiliates, stay true to the values and customer service that were set forth by the Lambert Family in 1965.

The Homan family bought the business in 1979 and continued to provide exceptional service ever since.

I had a chance to sit down with Jeanette Homan, President of Lambert Enterprises Inc, and it became very evident that the Homan family and their employees pour their heart and soul into each customer – from beginning to end. The company is a family-owned business that takes pride in everything that they do and always treat the customer and their belongings with the utmost respect. “We make sure that we go above and beyond,” stated Homan.

There are several challenges that the company faces, the main one being that its peak season coincides with the hottest time of year. This is an added stress for the packers, movers and the families planning moves. Homan stated that she keeps pallets of both water and Gatorade for her employees, to make sure they stay hydrated while they work.

Another obstacle, which they easily overcome, like most businesses, was the boom in technology. Scheduling moves and storage used to be done by phone but is now handled all online, which we all know can have its disadvantages. “If we didn’t embrace the change, we would have gone out of business like many other moving companies in the surrounding areas,” explained Homan.

Lemoore Van and Storage, along with its sister companies, has received multiple awards for customer service excellence, community service, and business of the year. It is proof of the company’s dedication in providing amazing service for each customer and the community.

Local youth sports teams, the Naval Aviator Memorial, Relay for life and Operation Homefront are just a few of the community organizations that get generous support from Lemoore Van and Storage. Lemoore Van and Storage has sponsored several fundraisers, including the golf tournament in honor of Don Warkentin.

Lemoore Van and Storage also participate with different Lemoore Chamber events, including the Installation Dinner, the Central Valley Pizza Festival, and most recently, sponsored a night for Rockin’ the Arbor.

We at the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce are proud to have a business that goes above and beyond for their community, customers, and employees as a member.  Thank you Lemoore Van and Storage and the Homan family for all of your hard work and constant community support.
