The win puts the Lady Tigers in the Division II Central Section semifinals against their West Yosemite League foe, Redwood. Despite a loss earlier this season to Redwood High School in a dual match, Lemoore’s varsity wrestling program thinks it may again have the necessary tools to capture its second West Yosemite League title in a row and its 21st title in the past 22 years. Lemoore’s varsity basketball team continued its march to another West Yosemite League championship when it won two more games this past week, a 74-71 win over Redwood and then on Friday an easy 86-40 victory over Mt. Whitney in Visalia. On another note, Hanford West made Lemoore's job of capturing another WYL championship a bit easier by beating Hanford Friday night 68-65. The Tigers now have a 2-game lead over Hanford in the standings with 3 contests remaining in the league campaign. Keep reading...
