Lemoore High School’s Gary Joint, who was the state’s top-ranked wrestler at 126 pounds, and 182-pound Angel Solis, didn’t quite make to the finals of the California State Wrestling Championships this weekend, Solis losing late Friday night and then Joint dropping his semi-final match on Saturday to spoil both their chances of a state title. Lemoore High School’s Gary Joint, the state’s top-ranked wrestler at 126 pounds, and 182-pound Angel Solis are off to a good start at the 2016 California State Wrestling Championships being held in Bakersfield this weekend.
